MH17 ANALYSIS OF INTERCEPTED RUSSIAN TELEPHONE CALLS
Three telephone calls were intercepted by Security Service of Ukraine
1. The first, between "BEZLER" at crash site and his superior "GERNIN"
when analyzed is observed to be in stereo, with Geranin on the left channel
and Bezler on the right channel.
2. The second conversation has "MAJOR" and "GREK" speaking on what appears
to be a standard wiretap. It is mono, or single channel
(both parties mixed on identical left and right channels).
3. The third call between "MILITANT" and KOZITSYN" is again in stereo
with the "MILITANT" on the left channel and "KOZITSYN" on the right
channel.
The three telephone calls are shown below in what we forensic people call a time domain
waveform. Basically it is amplitude, or volume, vs time. The upper plot is the LEFT
channel and the lower plot is the RIGHT channel. The three calls are separated
by the red markers. Note that in the first and third calls the left and right channels are
different. These are the stereo recordings.
CONCLUSIONS
The calls are quite clear. We do not know how much or what kind of processing has been done.
The method of transmission of the middle call appears to be different from the other two calls.
Either the stereo calls were recorded with the cooperation of someone
in the Russian telephone company, or the recordings were assembled in a studio.
As for authenticity, I would need the originals, and knowledge of the method
and system used in obtaining and recording the files.
More to come....
